Toss Fire Wood-fired Pizza - Syracuse

A couple of days ago, I ordered a pizza and was pleasantly surprised by the garlic flavor. The crust was soft and thin, with just the right amount of crispiness. I do wish they had added more chicken, but I'll remember to request extra next time. Overall, the vegetables were fresh and of good quality. I would have given them a five-star rating if it weren't for the chicken shortage and the slightly high price.

I just want to give a heads up to anyone thinking about ordering the chicken wing pizza – DON’T. The dough is fantastic, but the pizza is just drenched in hot sauce with tiny bits of chicken, and an excessive amount of Parmesan and mozzarella cheese. I couldn't even finish a slice because it was so dripping with hot sauce. The other pizza options are good, but I want to spare someone the disappointment I experienced. Now I'm left hungry and frustrated.

The wood-fired pizza here is top-notch! I tried the Cheeky Monkey, and it was fantastic. The dough is exceptionally good—crispy and full of flavor. This is arguably the most unique pizza spot in upstate New York, offering a wide variety of options like Detroit-style pizza, salt potato pizza, and white clam pizza. It's definitely one of my favorite places to eat in the area!

The food and service are always incredible. We really love the caprese salad, Detroit style pizza (all of them! and the great craft beer selection.

20$ for large 4 cheese wood-oven specialty pizza... And it was very special. The cheese and flavor was amazing but most pizza places can get the cheese right... That's not what makes this place special. No, the all-star here was the dough. It was soft and crispy on the outside and had great flavor, I normally throw the crust away but today I dipped it in marinara and consciously forgot about calories. Would definitely eat here again.
