Freedom Of Espresso - Syracuse

A cute location on Armory Square. The coffee is great and they have a juicy but good pick of pastries. The service is professional, but casual. The decor is clean, but the decorations are missing something. Perhaps with the right number of patrons or live music it would give more warmth. We still prefer the Starbucks over the street. But if you want a warm place with eclectic art and a vibe, you can come a bit short. Surely worth a visit.

This spot was fantastic! I finally encountered a barista who truly appreciates tea and made the best cup I've ever had: Chocolate Chai tea with steamed almond milk and honey. She was incredibly friendly and welcoming as well. The Wi-Fi was free and worked perfectly. However, the restrooms were not very clean, which was a minor inconvenience compared to the overall experience.

Best coffee shop ever! I'm completely in love with their Joe Heath blend. The story behind this coffee is really interesting, and it explains why it's named after him. The staff is wonderful, and the atmosphere is welcoming at all locations. The coffee is a medium roast, and the beans are always fresh. I highly recommend paying a visit!

I really love this local coffee shop. The barista was incredibly cheerful and made my coffee exactly how I like it. The coffee was quite good, and I appreciated the brown sugar and agave syrup available in such a clean and friendly atmosphere. I visited in the afternoon when it was nice and quiet. Overall, it's a delightful place and a true gem of a café.

My wife and I stopped in after debating whether or not to go to the Starbucks across the street. We figured we 'd buy local and try this place. We were glad we did. The service was good and quite friendly. The coffee was quite good too (and they have a nice selection of various coffee styles. And the prices are definitely better than their competitor.
