Big Moo Ice Cream Parlour - Sylvan Lake

This was, without a doubt, the worst meal I have ever had. The hamburger was revolting, the onion rings were inedible (I didn't know it was possible to mess up onion rings), and to top it off, my wife got food poisoning from the poutine. We spent $40 on these three items and would have been better off going to McDonald's. I wish I could give this place 0 stars. We will never be dining here again.

This is the only ice cream place in town, but it's also the best. They have delicious ice cream and a good variety to choose from.

The ice cream at this place is really good with a wide variety of flavors. However, when we went to pay, the cashier accidentally charged us for 3 cones instead of 2. She seemed to be in a rush and didn't hear us correctly. Since I paid with my debit card, they quickly refunded me the extra amount in cash.

Exceptional ice cream with a ton of flavours! Always friendly staff! Will go again!

Whether you are enjoying a long hot day at the beach or you just have to be passing by the Lakeshore Big Moo is always a great place to stop for a treat.Boasting dozens of hard ice cream flavors, a number of frozen yogurt options, a bunch of different kinds of baked goods as well as a variety of other drink and snack options, there's a good bet you'll be able to find something you enjoy. With all these record setting hot days we've been experiencing, the time is right for a nice ice cream snack. My nieces and I suggest a double scoop of Wet Paint and Moon Most for those of you who are a child at heart (or otherwise)!The service has been excellent every time I've gone in, Even on days when the seemingly endless line of customers must be causing some stress.The one thing you will want to watch out for is the crowds as sometimes the line will be right out the door and down the block; even with the multiple additional locations found further down the lakeshore. So if you're planning to go on a particularly hot day or at peak hours, plan to have a bit of a wait in line.
