Jack The Dipper Ice Cream - Sylva

It's been a few years since I last visited. I was in the area this June and tried the Dutch apple pie ice cream and deep dish apple pie. I can’t remember the name of the place, but both desserts were amazing! I haven’t been able to find anything like them anywhere else.

This is the best ice cream I've ever had, and believe me, I know my ice cream! If you've been to Penn State Creamery, I can confidently say this place surpasses it. We've been visiting for years, and I have to admit that I was a bit apprehensive the first time we came, worried that a figure in a hooded robe would take my ice cream. Thankfully, the staff is incredibly friendly! It turns out it was just "Jack the Dipper," not "Jack the Ripper." Don't hesitate to give it a try—it’s truly liberating! The apple pie ice cream is absolutely amazing! I think we've found our go-to spot for life!

What's not to love? I always make it a point to try at least one new flavor on every visit, but I eventually return to my tried-and-true favorites. With more than 50 flavors to choose from, I still haven't tasted them all. I especially enjoy the cinnamon waffle bowls paired with one of the coffee flavors.

I love the ice and the warm Cinamon waffle shells is sheer heaven!! The staff is ALWAYS friendly! Great place!

This place is awesome! Excellent service, local, delicious ice cream, and HOT waffle cones. One of my favorite things. If you're in the area, you must check it out!
