Balsam Mountain Inn - Sylva

I only visited the bar, but the staff was very nice and the service was good. I liked the charm in what I saw of the old inn.

Great atmosphere, very quaint old hotel with so much history. Staff was very friendly, so relaxing to sit on the front porch. Only criticism is that it would be nice to have some pastries with the morning coffee. Wish the owners luck with their renovations.

Went to see the drive through Christmas lights! It was a wonderful display!

Grand Opening set within days We met the new owners. They were quite lovely and hospitable. My husband and I stayed there years ago loved it then and still do. It's a must to stay there as the ambiance is centered on it being secluded and restful. Labeled in my book as a trip to a hotel from the past with modern conveniences.

Just has a light display for Christmas to raise money for remodeling. I was told.
