Batter Up! Cater Up! - Sylacauga

I placed an order over the phone and went to pick it up. The ladies at the restaurant were incredibly friendly and welcoming while I waited at the bar. My food was ready in about 5-10 minutes, and they even assisted me with my order to my car. The food was excellent, and I highly recommend this place!

Their fried shrimp is unbeatable—coming from a Floridian, that's a big compliment! The potato salad is also worth mentioning. I can't seem to focus on ordering anything else because the shrimp is just that good! My mom says the catfish is great too.

I would rate them 5 stars. The food was excellent, the restaurant was consistently busy, and the service was fantastic. However, the downside is that they have closed the restaurant and are now focused solely on catering and delivery.

I've adjusted my rating to avoid impacting your business negatively. I apologize for not realizing how large our group was. That said, I still think that you need to have more staff available to attend to large parties. Having just one person for 25 guests is quite demanding. I felt especially sorry for the young woman who was responsible for taking all our orders. If I decide to return (this was my first visit since your opening), I hope the wait time will improve and that the circumstances will be different.

The restaurant has a wonderful family atmosphere. The staff was friendly, the food was excellent, and the story behind how this place was established is truly remarkable! It feels like a blessing!
