Vina Vegan Newtown 2042 - Sydney

After reading the reviews, we were looking forward to eating in vina, but were very disappointed. I don't know if the cook had a bad night, but two of our meals were tasteless. the crispy pancake was just a thick piece of gurke and a piece of undetectable deep roasted food. the same for the wool-seen combination with chili and lemongrass. no seasoning, the vegetables and the mock meat not recognizable. on the other hand, the Papaya salad was delicious. good texture and taste. service was friendly.

Everytime I had a dessert bender (i.e. full day just eating cupcakes and cookies), I always feel bad afterwards (as in my mood become uncontrollable and my joints feel weak). This restaurant come to the rescue. The warm broth, tasty mock meat, fresh veggies, and cosy vibe fulfil my body needs. Went here with a bunch of non-vegan friends too. They love the salad and banh xeo so much. Though I would be even more than happy with just their noodle soup.

This was so delicious! All vegan, all yummy, so gooooood! Ordered: Deep fried tofu Sizzling satay plate combo Rice Pandan and lotus buns YUMMMMM!
