Super tasty place. twisted chicken pot was such a good place to eat with family and friends. it is busy during lunch and dinner the 1/2 chicken hot pot is too-die-for. it was spicy with pepper taste on it (they can rate the spicy and the puffy taste of the plate in a piece paper.) we have chosen mildly and it was just perfect after the chicken is boiled, we ate it all up and the waitress added the specially made sponge broth. with many crumbles and flavors to cook we added scallops, thin cut bark wagyu and lamb, fish tofu (these I love and shanghai noodles in the suppe broth it also tastes like a real hot pot in china, but this dish is popular in Hong...more
We ordered half the chicken hotpot with pork with the supplements of wagyu, lamb, scallops, fishball and noodles. reminded me of a real hotpot they get in chengdu china. a lot of taste and flavor. I recommend the lamb over the wagyu when she was. everything else was great. we also had the fried chicken wings that were super delicious. the service was fast and no fuss. this side of the dixon road is busy at night and has a more youthful atmosphere than the older side. will definitely come back
It becomes colder and my body longs for warm and hearty oriented. mw and I check hong kong’s famous twisted chicken hot pot in sydneys chinatown. we drive around 12 clock for lunch on a Sunday. twisted chicken hot pot is a small restaurant in sydneys China city on dixon st. Check out my flatfail... Ahem, I mean flatlay. Let's blame the lighting. Also I just came here to eat, so I'm doing you a favor right now hahaha Nice attentive service here. Cute little place and ideal for a quick meal. Had the marinated beef, chicken wings and steamed vegies with oyster sauce. Generous entree servings which i turned into a makeshift tapas selection. Yeh so I do that sometimes... Bit ironic considering this is a noodle house.
