Tattersalls Club - Sydney

We stayed in Sydney for the weekend and just walked across from our hotel for breakfast. We had the Eggs Benedict with salmon, Tattersalls Breakfast and bacon and eggs. All was freshly cooked to order and fresh orange juice and apple juice were excellent. Nice coffee, friendly service and the price is unreal! We got four great breakfasts for a price similar for a single person in a 5-star hotel.

We very much looked forward to breakfast at City Tatts... However it was a great disappointment. The three egg omelette was the size in depth and width of a bread and butter plate, was tough and tasteless. The half avocado and accompaniment on sour dough was not something to write home about. The whole presentation was sparse to say the least and we will not be returning to breakfast. What is most annoying is that City Tatts is a great place to go to feel special, but certainly not for breakfast. I am not absolutely certain about the date.

I've been to this club a number of times when on business in Sydney. Great meals, bars and the food is always excellent. Meet with clients or relax over breakfast you can't go wrong!
