Bidrage med feedbackI discovered this restaurant while exploring the food court in the mall during my lunch hour. I decided to try the Nasi Lemak with chicken and it did not disappoint. The portion was generous and definitely worth the $13.
There are sooooo many places to eat in the food hall in the Westfield Centre, we plumped for this one and to be fair the food was very good at a reasonable price. Basically you give your order, pay and are given a pager to collect your food when cooked.... The only issue with the Westfield Centre is seating space, you need to have razor sharp eyes and the speed of a Cheetah to find one...thankfully we did before our food arrived ....
I stopped by for a quick dinner after a day in Sydney. Earlier, I had seen a delicious beef rendang which I was happy to find on the menu here. The service was fast and we were able to find a table, which can be difficult in this busy food court. The beef was tender and the sauce was hot and spicy, just the way I like it. It was definitely worth the money and I would return again.
Having grown up in Singapore, Nasi Goreng has always been one of my favorite dishes. However, yesterday I had the worst Nasi Goreng of my life at Sassy's Red. The first plate was so terrible that I had to send it back. The rice was soggy and clumpy, with unincorporated white rice grains and unblended spices and seasonings. I requested a second plate, and while the rice was still wet, it was at least free of white rice clumps. Sadly, it was still flavorless and I couldn't bring myself to finish it. Needless to say, I will never order Nasi Goreng from Sassy's Red again.
Stopped here for lunch- a laksa and a chicken noodle soup. Wow, really fresh and yummy. Massive portions. Would definitely recommend this place.
