Bidrage med feedbackReally nice eating and personal were nice. also really liked the churchill teller. was a bit in the expensive side, but still worth it, I think.
Although some of the dishes were too salty for my taste, I think that eating is generally quite good. they contained many Asian ingredients and experimented with various Asian dressings and soßen that I love, and the service was great. it's not a great romantic place for date if they don't like it loud, but it's great to have a great group that will get their way through their cocktails menu.
At the top of the queen chow for a fast feed. ordered the Dimm-Summe plate, peking ente pfannkuchen and the fried rice along the side verve. we started with the emptying plate that came at 8 pcs. 2 sui mai, 2 prawn hargrow, 2 spinat dumplings and 2 mushroom dumplings. the spinach dumpling wasn't great, but he wasn't terrible. the other three were very tasty. next came the peeing pancakes. the pancakes came with a very large amount (may have used more pancakes) and gurke and sauce as captivating. they were also very nice :d at this time we were full of veurve, dimmed and peking duck pancakes and did not need the fried rice so we arranged to go it. very fillable meal will be back! More fun place about an animated pub, bustling bar, which stands out in front of an adult covered beer garden by yore. sit in uncomfortable angles, create space for waiter limit colors. odd more attentive waiter was always sown with the hand numbing huhn dry, with caratasses of szechuan pfeffer grains under a plate without sosse. wagyu san choi bow down tasty and delicate dee pancake ok, but dee skin not crispy and subcutaneous fat plentifully boiled Maître’d all a bit more intensely very eager to acquire more drinks good for enmore, but not so good.
Interesting concept...pub meets Asian cuisine. Great vibes especially downstairs if you are after a few beers but for serious dining try upstairs. The food itself is not that awesome, except for the roast meats. Don't get me wrong. It's better than 90 percent of the places that purport to serve Chinese but I have come to expect better from Merivale. Still its worth a try if only to experience the quirkiness of it all.
