Bidrage med feedbackAbsolutley my favourite place in sydney! The view is absolutley spectacular as the the whole place rotates 360. The food was amazing could not fault it. Although i wasn't to fussed on the desert and the waiter never told me the outside of the dish was boiling hot so i tocuhed it with my fingers. But other then that i always have a wonderful experiance on the many times i have visited. I am abit bummed that they have changed their menu i absolutley loved thr pumpkin entre i had! Will cost you $90 for two course and $120 for 3 courses which i think is worth it. Their drinks however are quite pricey
The revolving restaurant is obviously a highlight! The dining atmosphere is very relaxed, dark & dim, and the type of music playing made it more like dining in a bar than a restaurant. The staff were very sociable and fast paced. The food came out really fast, i felt like i wasn't able to fully soak up the experience and enjoy each course properly. It takes 1.75 hours for the restaurant to do a 360 degree revolve, so we had to really draw out the dessert to see the whole thing! The food was cooked and tasted fine, nothing outstanding, but the prices was really expensive for the food but of course you are also paying for the revolving view. We dined on a Sunday which meant we had to pay Sunday surcharge, compulsory gratitude charge and credit card surcharge which nearly comes to an extra 20% on top!!! I would of rated it higher if the charges weren't so high as it softened the whole experience.
If you have a special occasion to celebrate, the O Bar and Dining is the place to go for the best city views, ambience and food. I remember when Australia Square first opened in 1967 and the queues to get to the top of Australia's tallest building. No queues today . . . but the thrill is still the same and the view is in my opinion, still better than from Westfield Tower. Why? . . . because you are closer to the Harbour Bridge and Opera House. Booking a table was easily done by making a phone reservation. I chose the second dining time of 9.00pm because I wouldn't be asked to leave after a few hours and I wanted the night to last forever! Also I wanted a window seat and all seats had been booked until this later time. On arrival, we were greeted warmly and asked to wait in a lounge area near the bar. Waitresses attended to our cocktail needs and brought complimentary salted almonds. Within five minutes, our table was ready for us to dine. We chose the three course dinner menu set at $115 per person. However, this ended up being more because of our selection choices and the additional 7.5% discretionary staff gratuity charge which is added to the final bill. While sitting at our table considering the menu and admiring the 360° revolving view we ordered a bottle of Bianca Vigna Prosecco Brut. It was perfectly chilled and the absolute drink for the occasion. This was teamed with complimentary seeded (ancient grains) bread & wild garlic infused sea salt whipped cottage cheese. For entrée I couldn't resist paying an extra $10 for the Western Australian Blue Peats Ridge marron, split and grilled with house XO butter and charred lime, while my partner chose the Hot Smoked Buffalo described as Cherry wood smoked buffalo, celeriac, charred baby cos, savoury granola with horseradish snow. Don't be deceived by the name when ordering! This was not a hot entrée but a cold salad dish. Nevertheless it was still delicious. With so many enticing main meal choices, again we ordered the a supplementary meal choice. For an additional $20 we chose the Fillet of John Dory with roasted rock lobster tail, shaved kipflers, broccoli shoots, fermented chilli and lemon. We ordered also an extra side of roasted charisma potatoes done with garlic & herbs. During the evening, the ever changing night views of the city added that special wow factor to our dining experience. Our waiter Sebastian also deserves a special mention here. He was most attentive and friendly. He offered to take numerous photos for us during the evening and during the conversations we told him about our anniversary we were celebrating. He organised a special surprise dessert cake along with our ordered desserts. What a beautiful surprise! You made our night so special - Thank you. Dessert was amazing! I chose the hot passionfruit soufflé with hidden milk chocolate, dipped passionfruit cream. This is one of the best soufflés I have ever tasted. Definitely a must try again dish. My partner's choice was the Chocolate textures #4. Also a standout dessert for chocoholics. To finish the evening - coffee and another cocktail. I can't wait to go here again. Everything was perfect and the food was magnificent. Yes it does cost - but in life you get what you pay for! It's worth the expense to dine up in the sky with a view to remember and make a memory that will last a lifetime!

The atmosphere of this restaurant was quite lovely being surrounded by a 360 view of Sydney's beautiful cityscape at night. Overall, the service was very friendly and well-informed. For starters, I ordered the seared scallops. It was absolutely delicious and also my favourite dish of the night. The scallops were paired with a cream cheese-like and tangy chilli sauce. The combination of flavours worked so well and it definitely made me want more! I ordered the wagyu beef cheeks as the main. However, I was a bit underwhelmed by this dish. For dessert, I ordered the meringue with matcha cream and ice cream. I really enjoyed this dish as well and it was a great finish to the meal. The meringue was crafted so delicately into small rolls. The mixture of orange, matcha and cream was very tasty.
