Bidrage med feedbackI work near niigata so that it is a nice place to eat with my roommates at lunchtime. I always came here when it was takeru. takeru probably had better portions of food and eating was of a higher quality. unbelievably I still enjoy niigata, as it is still today. I'm gonna go with yash. yash and I have a really big project at my work already tied up this year and she tells me that she doesn't like chili. I thought that would be very rare for a person Indian descent, but I like how she broke the stereotype in my head.
One of my favorite spots for lunch in the Chinatown/Town Hall area. You have a large menu with some very authentic Japanese food (I know because I have lived in japan for years). what I love most is the half-shell section on the menu where they can order half the portions of one-bowl rice dishes (donburi) if they are not hungry enough to eat a whole portion. my recommendation is the spicy kaisen (seafood) don. order a side of the deep-fried salmon skin. they will probably not be able to finish it, but it is just and makes a very nice little supplement. if I had to describe it in a set, it would be: yummy, affordable and much to choose on the menu so that they don't get bored (but they could just go at the end to the same thing, because they are so good also no complaining about the customer service.

Last time I visited this place, it still means takeru. no idea if they've changed chef. omelettes reis was ok, but I think it wasn't good. chatsu reis was good. I hope it would be as great as before.
I started to eat here as it was still takingru, then after a dae niigata. Maybe they change their administration, but it does not change the quality and taste. my favourite meal is the midday mix and spicy calamari namban, so mouthwater
