Bidrage med feedbackWe took photos inside because its lovely. Its right on the main street. We stopped in one hot afternoon for a frozen coke and loaded fries, gourmet burger, and some dessert. We enjoyed a filling meal, in air conditioned comfort, for $20. Great value in Sydney!
Several mornings a short walk to McDonalds for an expensive breakfast before continuing tours of the City. Enjoyed the BLT McMuffin. I have not seen this on the menu in the States.
I saw the McCafe portion of the chain and then saw the store. Ordered the Smokey BBQ Roll & Hash Brown total $8.05 Australian $6.19 U.S.Dollars. Really don't know if good deal or not. The food as stated was surprising good.
Good value, great efficiency especially for one on the run. Choc chip hotcakes at a dollar a piece. Available all times of the day. Eat in or take away. Sounds like a promo? No, I am a real customer. Even better is the free espresso coffee from MaCafe for seniors with any purchase.
Just visited here for a coffee one morning as Starbucks across the road was full of some very important looking people, wearing very important looking suits, probably on their way to some very important meetings with other equally important people; it was busy. I was second in line at the McCafe counter. The man infront of me, a business professional none the less, was being very picky about how his drink was made.He had ordered some bizarre concoction that was not on the menu. All I heard was Soy milk bla bla bla half shot bla bla bla dry skinny bla bla bla syrup bla bla bla. After he had flicked his very important looking hair, a tiny espresso cup was placed on the counter. His eyeballs bulged as he went cross-eyed with rage. How could anybody mess up something so simple! "All I asked for was a double, Turkish style, decaf, quarter shot, wet, dirty, half sized, whisked frappacappaccino, served in a mans hat! The young girl behind the counter Looked flummoxed. After making the drink again to his exacting standards, the next challenge was to put it all through the till. 5 minutes in she had to radio the manager, and before you know it, there were three members of staff gathered around the till. All the while the man muttering something about "I usually get charged $1.85 NOT $1.90! He went cross-eyed with rage. Eventually he was on his way, probably to do some very important business with some very important people, as he, himself was a very important fellow indeed. If I was in her shoes I would have clouted him one. I'm a barista in the UK and know just how difficult picky customers can be. However where I'm from it's more about dealing with the yummy mummy's who drive huge, polluting range rovers and have very wealthy husbands who are all ' in the business ' whatever that means. Finally it was my turn. " A small Cappaccino please". Simple. The coffee was really good. The only complaint I have was that the wifi did not work.Overall a good Macdonalds.
