India Gate - Sydney

I only saw this restaurant once with my friends. we ordered butter huh, huh tika masala, redi chanai and lamb curry, as well as lamb rogan josh. there was nothing special except the butter chicken. I am a person who would like to try new food from different countries and I have no fear of experiencing unusual or new flavors of food. but for Indian food I have never returned to this restaurant because I did not like the unfriendly personal in this restaurant and I did not try to explore other Indian restaurants in sydney.

This little outlet on the Georges Street packs a big punch when it comes to Indian food. Basically, we chose to gorge on the North Indian style of vegetarian food which os generally spicy . The food quality is excellent. Service is at par. Definitely worth a visit. Keep munching!! Ciao!!

This restaurant is just a stone's throw from where I currently live in Haymarket. I wasn't too keen on having Indian food in Australia (since I have had Indian food all my life before moving here), but something compelled me to walk in one rainy night! The place was nearly empty (most likely due to rain), and I was attended to by a friendly waiter who asked about my hometown and stuff. Staying in this neighbourhood ultimately led us to discover India gate. The sweets cabinet displayed at the front of the store always looks nice and full. We grabbed some Indian sweets from here and found them to be nice but some tasted stale so it's really a hit or miss ...

Worst place of all time !! We had booked it through a tour operator for lunch when we reached there, they said that their booking is for dinner. When we told you that we book another dinner, you said to us sorry that we can not help. The staff named Jassi was extremely rude !! When we said you, you should talk to the tour operator ATMs, we were said - it's not our job.
