Bidrage med feedbackThe atmosphere may be questionable (as I had seen in other reviews), but I assure you, the food is definitely worth it! The pork dish was amazing.
To the dismay of my waistline, I have a strong affinity for well-made handcrafted noodles.
The food was incredibly authentic! We tried the hot and sour soup, handmade noodles with seafood and beef, sizzling tofu, fried rice, eggplant dish, and braised dish.
I recall going here a few years ago and it stuck in my mind often , went again last night and can remember why , hand made dumpling, made to order , steamed,boiled/fried.And huge plate , stopped here for a snack and two of us had trouble wit the last mouthful.$11.80 for large serving , of $8 for half , great price , didn't feel ripped off like a lot of other dumpling houses , they also serve other dishes.
I pass this place at lunch times and always has a que. went past and wait not that long so jumped in. Should have guessed from name and open kitchen where long noodles are being twisted like skipping ropes. Every one ordered the steamed dumplings which at $16 for a huge plate looks like good value. I got the beef noodle soup. The noodles I've been thinking about them since. Firm (not rubbery); silky (not slimy). Noodillie taste. Ordered takeaway fried dumplings for picky son who said they were divine. Gobbled up before I got to try one. Tip: can order from que: pay at kitchen. I'm back there next week...
