Poacher's - Swinford

Had a lovely meal which was reasonably priced. Great relaxed atmosphere would highly recommend served up 9pm in the evening

A nice place to stop and grab a pint and meal while in Foxford. The Seafood Chowder with brown bread is one of my favorites.

As one of the few restaurants in town, we ended up dining here multiple times. The staff was pleasant, welcoming, and friendly. The menu included simple options like pasta, soup, sandwiches, fish and chips, and burgers. While the food wasn't particularly gourmet or innovative, it was satisfying and we had no complaints. We chose to eat in the bar area to avoid the cool blue lighting in the dining area, which gave everything a blue tint and created an unpleasant ambiance for an evening meal. Despite the undesirable atmosphere, the great staff saved the overall experience.

My husband and I stopped by Poachers restaurant on our way home from Knock Airport. The server was very friendly and took our order promptly. The food arrived quickly and was delicious. I ordered the steak Guinness pie, which was filled with tender chunks of beef, and my husband had the homemade soup with soda bread, which was also very tasty. We would definitely come back if we are ever in Foxford again!

A huge tasty breakfast with my Friends on a Saturday morning heading to Belmullet to do some surfing and windsurfing.White and black pudding,rashers,sausages,beans and toast and some eggs! we were so full we could barely walk back to the car which was only 20 steps away and the friendly staff made sure we were well looked after and kept topping up our coffee. Highly recommended.
