We were greeted by a lovely lady who showed us to our table and took our drink orders. We went for lunch and I had the quiche while my wife had the tuna mayo ciabatta. The food was cooked perfectly and nothing was too much trouble. We also had the pleasure of saying hello to the owner, Mark, and his wife, Kate, who catered our wedding. Mark was very kind. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. They serve delicious food and are open to the general public, not just golf club members. The terrace is lovely and the views are stunning. Whether you are looking for a wedding venue, a business lunch, a date night, or a family meal, this restaurant has it all. I would like to thank the lady who served us for making our anniversary special, as well as the chef, Wayne, for the wonderful food and for coming to wish us a happy anniversary. And a big thank you to Mark. We will definitely be returning with our family in the future.

What a difference from the previous incumbents! Well cooked delicious food in generous measure. Great for breakfast or a lunch. Coffee or tea with free refils can't be bad either. Trouble is I can't resist their bacon rolls even after having my own breakfast.....

My husband, father, and I went to this restaurant for breakfast today and we were all very disappointed. We ordered two small breakfasts and one large breakfast. My dad requested a poached egg and was initially told no, but later someone else asked for one and they were told yes. The service was also subpar - we were given a beeper that never went off, a server walked past us with multiple plates and toast without acknowledging us, and my husband had to push in line to get our food as I am disabled and unable to do so. The quality of the food was also disappointing, as the beans were cold and there were only a few of them on the plate. Overall, we felt that the experience was not worth the price we paid, especially including the lattes.

We booked a table for five people for lunch and we all ordered the Sunday roast - three had roast beef and two had gammon. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. Couldn't ask for anything better! Keep up the great work!

Great pint and atmosphere. friendly local pub and great staff.
