Skeet's Texas Grill - Sweetwater

I just want to start with EXCELLENT from the service to dinner! Some places are hit or miss between lunch and dinner, but Skeets was hot and fresh the quality of food was amazing and refreshing most places serve frozen food this place you can get the amount of love in any dish along with the freshness! We ordered children's dishes, nachos, burgers, fish plate to fish tacos together with 2 appetizers fried pickles and fried mushrooms both exceptionally fresh!!!. Price range is the quality and waiting time was minimal despite the freshness that means that the kitchen team is just that a team. The owner even arrived while we finished our meal, and that means only that he is involved and committed to his business that is important!! Very recommended for everything is child-friendly!

Wow! This place has far exceeded my expectations. I had the chickenfajita salad and my husband had the chicken fried steak. Both were absolutely amazing. If you travel through freshwater, this is the place to eat.

FOOD RATES:5 SERVICE: 5 CLEANLINESS RATING: 2 husband and I ordered both grilled chicken breast with vegetables (also grilled). Came with two well sized chicken breasts per order, which were moist, tender and well seasoned. The grilled vegetables and the addition of cheese on the chicken only added to the meal. The pages were also very good. Fresh garden salad, loaded baking potato and Cole saw were excellent. The pinto beans were a bit firm, indicating a need for a little more cooking time. The accompanying fried bread was light and airy with the addition of honey... very nice. We had great service from a nice young lady. Her name was neither offered nor obvious, but she had beneficial nails with lime green polishing. Cleanliness. Not to their food and service, sure. The dining room floors are in great need of a very deep clean. Also chairs and stands require thorough cleaning. Ditto for the toilet floors that appear very dirty and show evidence for earlier linoleum (now drawn). All lacquered doors especially the bathrooms need cleaning and repainting, as dirty hand prints are very inconspicuous. With some cleaning and painting, this jewel of a restaurant would receive a 5-star rating.

This is my husband’s absolute favorite place to eat in Sweetwater because of their marinated ribeye. They were out the time we came (we can understand why) so he ended up trying the peppered ribeye which he said tasted like beef jerky, but the marinated is better because of the sweet brown sugar taste and spice. I usually always get the tender and fish combo with different sides when I go. My parents had the fajitas which are tender and juicy and the supreme nachos that have different meats. Skeet’s is always a must go when I come to town. It is usually everyone’s favorite place here in town. If you are passing through I would highly recommend stopping and getting something to eat here.

The fried pickles were to die for! I love hand breaded food and this by far exceeded my expectations! The steak fingers were also delicious!
