Bidrage med feedbackDue to this virus with us all distancing we been buying curries from a few different curry restaurants and I'm saying Zaal comes on top of all . I will always buy from them . There curries are so tasty and enjoyable . We now...regularly order takeaways from them there service is excellent always on time and food piping hot . So I recommend them for your food and you won't be disappointed . Thank you
Haven’t visited in a while and once I started tucking into the food I remembered why it was awful shocking and terrible all combined into one,a total waste of for mains and some sides at least Dick Turpin wore a mask!!!!!!
Have been twice. Remembered why had not been in sometime once the mains arrived. The dishes on average are a few pounds more than most the other Indian restaurants in the area. Yet the portion sizes are VERY small and lacking in flavour. Service is...friendly and it is BYO but for what you pay you are simply not getting value for money or a good flavour curry which is why you go to a curry house in the first place!
I had previously had a meal in the restaurant and enjoyed it, so I thought it would be a safe bet to get a takeaway. Last night I ordered what was supposed to be a Madras dish (advertised on the menu as fairly hot However,...when I got it home it was a sickly sweet bright red sauce with very little flavour (apart from sweetness), there was no spice to be tasted anywhere. This has happened to me a number of times with different restaurants and takeaways, I have ordered a particular sauce and been given a bland, bright red, sugary goop – so sweet it could pass as a dessert. I think every restaurant and takeaway that sells Indian food must have that one duff chef – let's call him Fred. Fred can only cook red.
My wife and I fancied a Indian takeaway as we hadn't had one in at least We opted for Zaal as we have had good food from here before. The food in this occasion was OK, but nothing special. Tandoori mixed grill some...of the meat was tough and the naan was soft and soggy. My wife had the tikka masala which she said was average at best. Even the mint chutney sauce was like water. All in all, an average meal all round.
