Michaelangelo's Pizza Subs - Swansboro

Let me tell yall something… I traveled to Swansboro for work…I stopped here on my way to Jacksonville today and babyyyyy, that is the BEST sub I have had in a very long time. Every taste bud of mine was COMPLETELY SATISFIED. Customer service was TOP TIER and FRIENDLY! I should’ve got a whole sub instead of a half one because WOW! I’ll be back even if it’s just to get another sub. ?

Best pizza. It's been years since I had me one of these pies but I'll tell you when I'm in town this is the spot. Let's not forget the staff keeping the place together. If you're fair they are fair. That's exactly how it should be. If I could give 10 stars I would. Love this place Vegetarian options: Lot's of veggie options from salads to pizza, to even veggie subs. They also have a ton of vegan sides too. Kid-friendliness: Family pizza shop, local, and all kids love pizza. There is plenty of places to sit. Even a small section you can sit out front too. fountain drinks.. too. Pepsi of course Wheelchair accessibility: If you're in a wheelchair you can come on in. They have a ramp and parking for people with disabilities.

I’m local to Swansboro, and we’ve slowly watched the decline of this shop over a short period of time. We stayed with them through it, but I’m done with them. The food quality has tanked and just recently the prices went up significantly. I understand the economy isn’t ideal, but the prices went up and the quality went down worse at the same time. The slices are trash, they really do set in the case all day. They changed their gluten free dough as well. My girlfriend has celiacs and she has to eat that dough and she’d rather not eat pizza than eat the dough they use now. I’m sorry to say that this store is nowhere near what it used to be. Avoid them if you can. Dietary restrictions: The gluten free dough they use now is garbage.

I am absolutely fuming at the fact that my 4 year old has been up non stop throwing up all night with food poisoning from your veggie pizza. I don’t normally come to this location and honestly I’m not coming back here or to any of them after this. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! ?

I'd only order Pizza from the location in Swansboro, even though I live in Cape Cartert where there's another Michaelangelo's...just forget about it! Really... to be quite honest, the pizza there sucks! Swansboro, on the other hand, they've always made without fail, a perfect NY Style Pizza that's done right! For at least the 5 past years I've tried ordering from Cape Cartert, and nope, every time... Pizza sucked! So, with that being said; if you're in the vicinity and looking for an awesome pie, I'd recommend that you drive the extra few miles to Swansboro, and if that doesn't work, head over the bridge to Emerald Isle where you'll find Lazzara's, (once you cross over the bridge, first turn to the right. Their Pizza is always spot on, but heads up, they're closed year round on Sundays.
