Hwy 55: Burgers, Shakes Fries

Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. We watched at least three tables walk in after us and be served but we weren 't even acknowledged. Finally a woman came in and sat at the table beside us. A server came over to her, looked at us, mumbled that someone would be with us in a few minutes, and then proceeded to walk off. She returned with menus for the woman who had just come in and nothing for us so we opted not to waste any more time and left. I certainly don 't mind waiting my turn, especially when a place is fairly busy, but being ignored for over fifteen minutes is unacceptable. Perhaps your employees need a refresher in the first come, first served rule. We have been patronizing this restaurant since it opened but probably won 't be returning anytime soon.

The burger was excellent! The fries were awful. The only thing in this world that should be refried is Beans! Gotta stop double dipping! I decided to upgrade to onion rings but my server did not come back so after I finished my burger I called them on the phone to order onion rings. They had trouble understanding what I wanted but we worked it out and the Onion Rings were great. Hot, fresh and not too oily. I would like to give 5 stars but maybe next time.
