They also offer old-fashioned lemon squares, classic rugelach, wonderful kosher pies, and the best muffins, all made from recipes passed down from master baker Joe Newman to his son Bernard. The recipes are fantastic, and the place feels like it's been frozen in time, just like it was 50 years ago. For the finest experience, you simply must visit this original bakery. I’d gladly give it more than 5 stars! The only thing I wish is that the baker would make cookies for those special folks who appreciate his work. There's a nice table out front, and the ocean is just across the street. Go there and tell them the Mustache sent you! I don't leave a crumb on my plate. Ciao!

I've been coming to this place for around 15 years. I moved away for a while but returned to find that they've updated the setting, yet they still maintain the same great quality. Their bagels are the best I've ever had. I now have several food allergies, but they go above and beyond to ensure that my bagels are cooked separately to avoid any contact with corn. If I call a day in advance, they'll happily prepare a dozen for me.

Everything is absolutely delicious! I also appreciate that they have tables and chairs, allowing you to sit and savor your meal. Plus, the staff at Newman are incredibly friendly and helpful.

One of the last bakery in the neighborhood, where every day everything is fresh in the house. The service is personal, the Bagels are delicious, and the Challah is kosher. What can you ask for more?
