If you're looking for a cool place to eat, thus might not be your best choice. Although the old house house is unique, and the front porch picnic tables are a throw back in time, there's no HVAC. Food quality is OK, real nice cut of pork steak, but the smoke flavor and BBQ sauce were average at best. Not worth driving for, but also not a total disappointment.

Great smoked BBQ. Several meat options, (fish on Friday), sides, and dessert. Daily specials for lunch or dinner. Catering available for large parties. Smoked ham and turkey available for holidays. The owners are really nice and love dogs.

The sauce and peach cobbler was very good but the snoot was very tough and hard to eat

Authentic homemade BBQ, The green chili is the best thing there.

We did not enjoy our dinner at all. The pulled pork tasted like it had been left in a crockpot all day. It was badly overcooked and had been completely saturated with a BBQ sauce that none of us cared for. My sister's cheeseburger arrived totally cold, and the meat was unseasoned. The people here were nice and service was great, but the food was bad enough that we will not be back.
