I believe that this restaurant has provided me with one of the best gastronomic experiences I have had in Iceland. Although the country is amazing, its culinary culture may not offer much outside of the capital. Arriving in Höfn after several days of limited food options, we were eager to try something new. We stumbled upon this cold yet charming restaurant and decided to give it a try. We were pleasantly surprised to discover that Höfn is known as "the lobster capital of the north," so we knew what to order. The lobster was exquisite, the prices reasonable, and we had a great time during our visit. In Iceland, it's important to seize every opportunity to enjoy a delicious meal, as you never know when you'll be stuck with gas station food for the rest of your journey.

The restaurant is in a stunning location with beautiful people. The food was excellent and breakfast is included. The restaurant offers a scenic view of wide fields and 4 glaciers in the background. The rooms were comfortable and clean. I would definitely return without hesitation.

We loved our stay here during a non-speaking tourism time frame. the breakfast was pretty good and a decent spread. there were no eggs, speck, etc. warm dishes. all cold dishes. loved the two types of hering (especially pickled spiced. room we got was bigger than expected and soundproof was good. we heard the birds in the morning, but not gracious, grateful. the people who work here are so friendly and had great suggestions to eat in the opposite. it seems that the owner has friends who live in the opposite to hang, even. really tight and charming. the facilities were clean and comfortable. highly recommended!
