Blake Barn - Sutton Coldfield

Whenever we have a special occasion like birthday or jubilee, we always travel to blake barn. it is about a 20 miles trip, but it is worth it. the food, the staff and the service are excellent. would recommend it to everyone. first rate.

Upon entering the premises we received a warm and friendly welcome and were shown to our seats. Our server Isabella introduced herself and gave us our menus and returned five minutes later to take drinks orders. We ordered tap water , beer, a cocktail and a lemonade. It took more than five minutes to get any of the drinks including the tap water. The cocktail took about ten minutes to come but as this was freshly made and I had been told it was coming I didn't mind waiting. While we were waiting to order our food two team members came over to us and offered the children sweets. Whilst we appreciated this gesture it's probably not really appropriate to offer children sweets before they are about to eat, but rather wait until after the meal. Our order was taken in a timely manner and all was correct when it arrived. We received a check back from Isabella and another male team member. The bill was brought to us when we asked for it and it was correct. My payment was processed smoothly. Overall the experience was good and the team members seemed to be doing their best and were friendly and smiled. Isabella was able to make food and drink recommendations when asked.

Had a fantastic meal, service was excellent very polite and friendly staff.Two meals for the price of one... Could not fault it..
