Haweli Of Belmont - Sutton

We had the worst curry at this restaurant. They do not have a liquor license. The tables had plastic place mats and cheap paper napkins. The curry was watery with prawns floating in it and the chicken was tough. The place smelled musty and the service was poor. Save your money and dine elsewhere.

My first experience with Haweli takeaway was disappointing. I will not be returning. The tikka chicken was chalky and lacked flavor, and the salad accompaniment was simply onions. The naan bread was doughy and cold. My husband's passander was watery and flavorless, so he left most of it uneaten.

I ordered a large takeout and was disappointed to find that the portion sizes had been significantly reduced. The pilau rice lacked flavor and was very bland. Despite it being close to home, I will not be returning to this restaurant.

I can't say enough about this restaurant - everything is fantastic! The service is heartfelt and welcoming, and the food is great. I highly recommend the chicken lollipops as a starter, as they were suggested by the owner himself and I can confidently say you won't be disappointed. I give this place a 10/10 rating.

I had an incredible experience at Haweli from beginning to end. The staff greeted us with smiles and seated us promptly despite being busy. The food was the best I have ever had at an Indian restaurant and I highly recommend it.
