Queenies - Surry Hills

Queenies can be super hit and miss. My boyfriend really likes it so I have given it ago a few times. When the food is good t is really good but when it  is average it is really disappointing,. It is over priced. The vibe is  cool so it is good if your looking for a tropical escape but I don't hype it up too much.

I visited Queenies twice, one with my girlfriend and the other with my sister and our family friend. Finding the restaurant is a bit difficult because you have to go through the bar to get upwards. It will be better if you ask the service personnel in directions. Grief Food to the Queenies is decent (I will not return if the food is bad!). I tried the backhigh, voodoo wing and sweet potato fries. The Voodoo wings and the coconut sauce are something you need to try here !! The back howle can be good or bad (depending on the day), but I like the salad that accompanies the chicken, which is colorful and flaved.

Went here in Mardi Grass and it is not even packed. It's over the forrester! Food is recommended to share the large plate. Ordered the 1kg seashell with Naan, and it's so much to finish 2 girls. The jerk corn is so delicious with roasted coconut and a kind of mayonnaise like cream.

Love the interior, mood and atmosphere. Grief The staff are funky and friendly. Grief They gave us access with watermelons and coconut pitches (yum) and their burgers and currys is ???????????? Grief Will definitely be back soon.

Jerk Chicken is a good and nice service, but the Veggie Rundown had no taste and is only rice-W vegetables, no sauce or anything. Fun atmosphere for a drink and a snack, but not for dinner
