My favourite vietnamese restaurant in sydney!! Soooooo good every time!! Their vermicilli salad tastes like its straight from vietnam!! Cocktails are amazing too!! Go early to get a table at the weekend!!

I used to live just around the corner and I loooovvveee this place. I saw it from the first day they opened. Recommended dishes are: 1. Crab fried rice - MUST MUST MUST try.. so good, they added tomato just at the end to add just enough moisture to the rice. I've travelled a lot and this crab fried rice is UP there! 2. Market fish, fried with salad on top - don't know the exact name but this was a GOOD dish. The waiter will tell you what kind of fish they have on the day ... but it doesn't really matter.... I've had several types they were all good ... fresh, not fishy at all 3. The vermicelli salad with spring roll and bbq pork. Again, can't fault this dish.... so so GOOD. If you're looking for a fresh meal... this is it! The dressing was good, not oily, not too salty, not too sweet. The salad was fresh.. They are always packed so you better call first and you can leave your phone number so that they can contact you when your table is ready.... Plus, they have friendly and energetic staff????

Ducked in for a very quick, late lunch whilst in Surry Hills. Love this place when the crowds are gone and you can just relax, dream and imagine you have lept over the sea to Vietnam! Ordered tofu and mushroom rice paper rolls $9, and two vermicelli noodle bowls with traditional salad mix - one with BBQ chicken $16, the other with tofu and mushrooms $16. Light, flavoursome and nutritiously sound! As it says on the back wall "do you love mamma"? Well, the answer of course is "YES"!

Love the Vietnamese salad here. Went with the lemongrass pork with pork spring rolls. Ive actually always wanted to see this combination on a Vietnamese menu, first time and love it. Best salad I've had in a long time. Spring roll was crispy and light which went well with the silky smooth vermicelli. The pork was perfectly tender, and the serving was very generous by most standards. The salad was fresh, and the mint, basil and perfectly balanced sauce, made this dish a delicious success. The service was very attentive, fun and caring. The ambience is authentic and comfortable. Will try some more things next time - everything coming out of the kitchen looked great!
