Bidrage med feedbackIt’s a cute little homestead with an outdoor courtyard out back that gets a lot of sun. The dinner menu has been getting great accolades since their opening and their brunch menu does not disappoint. On the menu today it was hard to pick a favorite after having the following: OUEGS PARFAIT EN VERRINE: Perfect eggs, ratatouille, Lamb with home made focaccia LOLUK CROQUE MADAME: Baked hame, gruyere, tomatoes, bechamel sauce and egg (sunny side up) OMELETTE DU PAYA: Wild asparagus, eggs, garden tomatoes, marinaded vegetables and homemade focaccia Nice family owned and run by two brothers with a focus on Provence. Definitely worth a visit
Frenchy ninja A small boutique cafe/ restaurant serving up fresh and homemade pastries and brunch dishes to suit anyone. Classic egg porn for breakfast this place sure knows how to cook their eggs. Im surprised there was no truffles on offer to pair with the eggs. The food was average but was done correctly and seasoned well. Until next time ... Keep eating!! asianfoodninja.com
???????? @lokukbistro ???????? ???? PROFITEROLES: French choux with vanilla icecream and warm chocolate sauce ???? Always been a big lover of the sweets and end course or a meal but the beauty is in the simplicity and execution of Loluks options. The profiteroles were amazing! Tottaly indescribable. Try for yourself ????????
We went for breakfast and had high hopes because the fit out is so beautiful. Unfortunately the food was very disappointing. Perhaps their dinner is better? I still want to the dinner because the atmosphere is so nice.
A group of 6 of us were keen to try a new restaurant and having read all the rave reviews online LoLuk seemed the perfect choice! The food itself was good but what seriously let our night down was being seated outside in the absolute freezing cold (whatever happened to the table inside that Id booked 4 days prior??) Being from the UK we are used to the cold but had we known our table inside was no longer available we simple would have made alternative arrangements or each worn our winter coats, Im sorry but one heater between TWO tables just didn't cut it. Service was very slow but that was no fault of our waitress, she seemed to be doing the best she could under the circumstances, the restaurant was heaving and we kind of felt that we were out of sight out of mind being seated at the very back of the courtyard as to what appeared to be an 'after thought' of a table. We got through our starters which were all lovely but had to ask to be moved inside since it seemed silly playing musical chairs allowing everyone at the table to have their 5mins under the heater, by this point we couldn't feel our toes!!! We were moved within 10mins which was great we thought......but clearly our mains had been sitting under the pass (or at least some of them) whist our table was being set since half of our meals were luke warm.....plus the side dishes arrived so late that by this point we'd finished our main meals. The manager kindly offered to remove the sides from our bill and gave us a free plate of profiteroles as a token gesture but by this point it was too little too late, we were all fairly over it! The food was nice but the kitchen was seriously let down by a lack of disorganisation by the front of house, they were overbooked and understaffed. Unfortunately they didn't quite pull off the al fresco dining......half a dozen more heaters or a few blankets wouldn't go amiss!
