Bidrage med feedbackAfter our initial visit, it was clear that we would be returning to this restaurant many times. We were welcomed by a kind gentleman who we later learned was the owner's father. Despite a 10-minute wait for a table (due to Labour Day weekend), it was well worth it. The Hotcakes with Maple and Bacon ice cream were outstanding. The Spanish Eggs were also delicious, especially with the flavorful spicy sausage. We truly enjoy this restaurant and believe it is a fantastic addition to the neighborhood.
I absolutely love this place! Not only is the food and coffee amazing, but the staff are also incredibly friendly and fun. I live nearby and I can't go a day without stopping by. I highly recommend trying their coffee, affogato, homemade bacon ice cream (yes, bacon!), and the delicious cowbell burger. Just a heads up, make sure to let them know how you like your burger cooked to avoid any surprises. From my own experience, the staff are eager to please so don't hesitate to share any feedback with them during your visit.
Yesterday my group of friends and I met up for brunch at Cowbell 808 and it was amazing. Despite the trendy atmosphere of Surry Hills, I was impressed by the quality of the drinks and food. The restaurant may be small, with only a few tables and chairs, but the service was exceptional. We were lucky to snag two tables next to each other as a group was leaving. Everyone enjoyed their meals, which were delicious but on the greasy side. I had the baked eggs with sausage, which was creamy and spicy. Another person in our group tried the vegetarian option with eggplant and kale, while my partner had the lamb toastie that blew my mind with its rosemary flavor. The food arrived quickly, considering how crowded the place was, and the service was friendly from start to finish. Overall, Cowbell 808 delivered on both taste and service.
Went on a groupin which made food cheaper and probably my review nicer. Disappointed my ice cream was not bacon flavoured, but my ricotta pancakes were quiet good. So was the coffee. The cafe itself is cute and the staff was nice.
Cool 80's decor, friendly service, great burgers and awesome onion rings! Went on around 1:30pm on Saturday and didn't have to wait very long for a table. Mocha coffee was loaded with yummy chocolate. Decent value for money and free street parking available.
