Bidrage med feedbackAlthough the food wasn't too bad, the restaurant had a cockroach problem. There were dead roaches on the carpet, the window seals were dirty with roach bodies and grime
The best Lebanese food in Surrey hills We love to enjoy Abdul’s whenever we visit Sydney This place has been here since the late sixties seventies Of course the fabulous food is the attraction not the laminated tables and retro look We had fantastic banquet with amazing selection of lamb beef chicken and falafel dishes Plenty to share and enjoy this was brilliant food and the best evening for us again on our weekends away in Sydney To be honest it never fails to impress us we really appreciate this wonderful establishment
Have been dining at Abdul's in Surry Hills (Sydney) since the mid-70s, and it has been in the same building since 1968 when few Australians evens knew how to spell tabouli or baklava! I enjoyed another night dining in an uncluttered restaurant whose decor is well past its use by date (but you don't go to Abduk's for the decor), where the khafta and BBQ meat plates were piled with goodness and freshness. The staff continues to be friendly and warm, and the food is as delicious as always. If you're dining out hoping to impress, Abdul's is not your default, but if you're dining to relax, enjoy the food, and soak up a little Lebanese cuisine, this is the place.
I have been to this restaurant a bunch of times and really like the food! All the plates are quite big and can be shared, the meat is usually fresh cooked in the charcoal grill which makes it so juicy and tasty. Also I'd say that the place itself and the service are just ok but the food and its quality are outstanding and not very pricey as everything in this city.
The food from this restaurant was the worst Lebanese food I’ve had. Avoid ordering from this restaurant. Bad packaging resulting in food etc spilling. The fatoush salad was between tabouli and ? Tough meat. Made me feel unwell after. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE
