Royal Oak Pizza Steak & Lbstr - Surrey

I used to frequent this restaurant often in the late 80s. I absolutely adored their Royal Oak Pizza. I recently visited and tried it again, and it was just as delicious as I remembered. The recipe hasn't changed, and it shouldn't. The combination of black olives, shrimp, and green peppers on the pizza is simply superb. I also tried the roasted lamb, which was equally delicious and served in generous portion sizes. We left the restaurant extremely satisfied and I plan on returning much sooner this time, rather than waiting decades.

6 of us went there for dinner, and as always, the food was great. We had various items off the menu, and we all enjoyed what we had. It was the birthday of one person in our party and she received a complimentary desert.

Have they changed ownership? Last night we ordered in their chicken souvlaki. It was not the same quality of food that we are use to! Rice was bland and the chicken was off! This is the second time we were not happy so wondering if they have changed ownership

Long time customer. Over 30 Years I have spent conservatively 2500-3000 over the years eating in and dining out, Food is good the majority of the time. One would think the young fellow behind the till, after all these years might recognize me or try to learn something about me or at least acknowledge that he just might have seen me a time or to when I encounter him either in the restaurant, the grocery store, liquor store etc.

We will not be returning after many years of eating here . Getting worse every year. Prices went up , service and food went down.
