Major Joy Flavoured Chicken - Surrey

Major Joy Chicken definitely had me by surprise. Immediately upon entering, you are greeted with a smell of freshly cooked chicken. They have both fried or grilled chicken with a selection of different flavours to choose from. We got tandoori chicken, a grilled lemon pepper chicken burger and fried classic chicken burger. It was great that the chicken was not greasy and dry, but I think what stands out about this place is the flavour/sauces they add to enhance the chicken! I would also vouch for their sweet potato fries which were super super crispy. Overall, this is definitely a great place to stop by if you?re craving an Indian take on fried/grilled chicken.

Recently paid a visit to Major Joy after seeing a sister posting about it. It?s been a long time since I?ve been here and wanted to check out their menu. What we ordered? 3 pieces of Fried chicken Tandoori, Major Hot and Lemon Pepper were the flavours Chicken Sandwiches Major Hot flavour Butter Chicken Poutine One Mango and One Kulfi Shake. They do not use processed sugar in their Shakes, everything is sweetened with dates. Major Joy has been opened for over over a year and in that year they have definitely improved their recipe and process. The fried chicken is crispy, not greasy, and the batter is a thin not very heavy coating so you get to taste more of the chicken. The chicken sandwiches are a large piece of chicken breast. This is a recipe enhancement from last time I went. They?ve definitely made the chicken sandwich bigger the taste was delicious also. The sauces (Major Hot) was a good compliment to the chicken. Butter chicken poutine nice taste on a Canadian Classic. They make the butter chicken sauce in house and add their chicken to it and pour it over fries and cheese curds. This was pretty tasty for sure. The shakes were delicious. The mango shakes were garnished with real pieces of mango which is nice to see. Glad to see some great improvements and they?ve taken customer feedback to heart. Halal Supplier is Superior Halal Poultry.

Delicious crispy fried chicken packed with flavour try the major hot and lemon pepper with the creamy tandoori sauce not dry and not oily). friendly staff. Butter chicken poutine is tasty but I felt a bit expensive , and the kulfi shake is very good. Everything seemed fresh! Whenever I drive into Surrey I stop here to dine in. You may have to wait a bit approx 15 mins as they make the chicken fresh to order but it's totally worth it! Was nice to meet the Owner's Father Mr. Sahil he was very kind ,and I shared with him that I wish they open more locations. Keep up the great work Major Joy Team!

This place if good. Good taste and quality of food. I would like to add some feedback though for the management: Please have ketchup in the restaurant, it is disappointing to not have ketchup with fried chicken. This happened all the three times I went there, they did not have ketchup. Please be consistent with the chicken size. I got a tiny portion of chicken in the sandwich, see picture in the review. Although the girl working at that time fixed this, it can difficult to do this every time when ordering online. Keep doing what you are doing and you guys will out compete KFC or Popeyes.

I got the Butter chicken sandwich combo with Mango milkshake. I ordered for take out from Major Joy. Their butter chicken sandwich is a real treat. The sauce is really rich and flavorful. For people that can't handle spicy food, this is a good choice. The chicken fillet is huge and very filling, especially on a long day of fasting. I topped the meal off with their refreshing mango milkshake.
