Lee Yuen Chinese - Surrey

Decided to give this restaurant a go after our usual go-to's changed owners....and after several positive comments about this establishment from various co-workers. Our family decided to order take out rather than dine in. Staff were friendly and helpful when ordering their dishes for the first time. Food was really delicious - beef in black bean sauce was probably the best we've tried in BC! Prices were very reasonable and take out containers larger than we are accustomed to. Restaurant able to cater to no MSG which was great. No complaints with the various dishes we tried (I think we tried one from each category except starters). I would highly recommend this place and looking forward to eating in and trying their dim sum.

I heard nothing but the best reviews on this restaurant. Ordered sweet and sour pork for pickup to go with My home made chowmein.Both containers had barely any sweet and sour sauce covering the pork. Very Dry! and definitely not fresh! Called to complain and received an opology. I can't imagine what the rest of their menu taste like and honestly, I don't want to know.

Their food is pretty good and authentic. We usually order dinner for three for under $40.00. If you get their egg rolls they are like mini things though that suck. Nothing like big spring rolls.

Always busy, always yummy, staff there is good to a point. Menu is full of good stuff. They have a take-out menu, haven't tried it yet.

Tried the dim sum, fried rice, breaded chicken almond, spicy and salty squid, and garlic kaylan. Everything was delicious. Priced right, not too expensive, moderate. This place is mostly busy to reflect its price and quality. One of my favourite chinese resto.
