Citrus Bar & Grill - Surrey

I have to agree with the other reviews. The food is surprisingly good, as eating at hotel restaurants can often be hit or miss. The selection of beer is also impressive. I particularly enjoy their dark beer options.

We were impressed with how quickly our food arrived and how delicious it tasted. The dinner menu showcased daily specials, which our group decided to take advantage of, and we were not disappointed. The garlic dishes were particularly outstanding. Our server provided excellent service, although we regret not getting their names to give them proper recognition. This hidden gem in the neighborhood has convinced us to come back again next time we are in the city.

We enjoyed some local craft beer and a few appetizers at this restaurant. The menu may be limited, but the food is delicious. The location is conveniently close to a variety of ethnic restaurants, including Chinese, Indian, and Korean options. It's just a short walk away.

Went there for a pre-Mother's Day dinner. We had the daily special $15 fish chips) and small Caesar salads. The fries were among the best we've had. Usually I only eat a few fries and save my appetite for the fish, but I ate...all the fries on my plate. The coleslaw was delicious and this is coming from someone whose never liked coleslaw before. Good Caesar and decent portion. All very reasonably priced and we were able to use a Groupon so it was a fabulous meal for an excellent price. We highly recommend Citrus Bar and Grill. Server was very friendly and the chef very accommodating to our orders. Plenty of free parking, and the ambiance is very classy. Just off the freeway so very convenient to get to even from South Burnaby. We will be back for sure.
