Bidrage med feedbackWe have frequented this restaurant often and have always enjoyed the delicious food. The waitresses are always very friendly. However, we had mixed feelings during our last visit when we spotted a mouse after finishing our meal. The staff member handled the situation calmly and didn't seem surprised or concerned. We understand that mice can be found anywhere, but it was still a bit unsettling. Overall, we have never had any issues before and will likely visit again in the future.
After walking from the skytrain to the nearby Brownsville Bar Park, I was in need of a light lunch and hoped to find one here. I was not disappointed. The food was even better than expected. The full lunch menu, including breakfast options, was still available. I opted for the breakfast special for only $5.50 - a great deal! The food arrived quickly, in about ten minutes, giving me hardly enough time to read all the signs on the wall. I noticed a good number of regular patrons who seemed to enjoy their meals. Kelly, our server, provided excellent service and patiently guided me through the menu. The restroom was clean, especially considering there was live music the night before. It was clear that cleanliness was a priority, as there was a sign reminding patrons to wash their hands and wear a mask when not seated. This place may not appeal to those who prefer yuppie-style franchise art pubs, but I personally enjoyed the independent attitude of this establishment. I will definitely be returning soon.
During our visit to Brownsville Park, we decided to review this pub purely because we had seen it featured in the television show Supernatural. We had low expectations from the start, but the pub had a classic, isolated bar vibe that made it perfect for filming. The beer selection was limited to three types of Hahn, and the waitress was unsure of their origins. We ordered a basket of deep-fried items, which included wings and cream cheese wontons. The food was decent, but nothing extraordinary. Overall, the experience was as expected - worth visiting once for fans of shows filmed there, but not much else. On a positive note, our waitress was very friendly.
This place is soou Down-to-Earth, even the servers are dr. . . . . . . . . . . it has about 100 campers/holiday trailers in the parking lot. . the steak sandwich is probably one of the best in surrey! Saturday/Sunday brunch is worth driving... about the city for! definitiw not fancy . . . just plain ole down home . . . we come here 5 to 6 times a month!
After walking from the Skytrain to the nearby Brownsville Bar Park, needed a light lunch, and hoped to get one here. Wasn't disappointed. Indeed, better than expected. Full lunch menu with breakfast still available. Had the breakfast special for LESS THAN SIX BUCKS! Beat...that, chain restaurant! Food came quite quickly; about ten minutes; hardly time to read all the signs on the wall. Did have time to note a fair number of patrons, some of whom appeared to be regulars. Great service Kelly quite patient taking me through the menu. Restroom looked clean; especially considering there was live music the night before. Taking Covid seriously: Sign in and wash hands at door, wear mask if you get out of seat, not sitting down, no service. If you like yuppy style franchise-type pubs, you may not like the independent attitude of this place. But, as for me, I'll be back soon
