Bidrage med feedbackWe took our three grandchildren out to dinner at this restaurant and were impressed by the quality of the food and portion sizes. The two older children opted for the increased meal option, which was a great choice for them. They enjoyed the Hungry Pizza, while the youngest enjoyed the Cheese-a-Cheese meal, both of which came with a choice of salad or fries, a drink, and ice cream - it was excellent value for money. My husband and I both tried the Hungry Carnivore, a new dish on the menu which came with meatballs, Italian sausage, paprika, and mushrooms on a bone. We also shared a side Caesar salad, which was fresh and delicious. Our server Zara provided us with exceptional service - she was attentive and knew exactly how to cater to the children, taking their orders first and engaging with them throughout the meal. It was a fantastic evening and we will definitely be returning!
After several shall I say controversial experiences at this location in which I bit my tongue and threw caution to the wind. I have just read an experience on facebook that occurred earlier this evening. I am a 25 plus year employee in the service...industry , and the experience and events that occurred tonight would have resulted in termination by ALL involved manager and all service staff. Apparently a waitress spilled some beer on a family at a table . Her way to handle this was to toss a bar towel at the mother and depart and return and blame the spill on a 4 year child who was coloring and minding his own business, a few moments later the manager arrived at the table and accused the 4 year old as well saying it was on camera and the mother asked to see the video, on route to view the video the manager spoke up and immediately advised the woman she needs to leave immediately. The manager is Alex Wray and the restaurant is on King George Highway at 76 Avenue FYI ALEX you are a MANAGER and customer courtesy SHOULD be your priority !! OBVIOUSLY it isn't.!!!!! MY observation is BOTH you and the WAITRESS aren't ADULT enough to do a responsible job. Taking blame and showing care and courtesy should be your MAIN concern. GET WITH THE PROGRAM !!!!!!!
So many times I've been to Boston pizza and ordered the whole grain Tuscan or Mediterranean and it came back with white bread that I made a point of asking the waitress to star it. We came especially for this WHOLE GRAIN pizza that I've ordered at least a dozen times in the past. She came back saying boston pizza no longer has this type of pizza and had not for years (bold faced lie since I had it only months ago). She said we'd have to make due with white crust and that that was the reason the waitresses kept coming back with white crust when I ordered multigrain, either that or nobody ordered multigrain. I corrected her that no, it was always waitress error and I had to send them back for the multigrain I actually ordered so maybe it was due to so many orders being screwed up that it was too much of an expense for BP. We had to order something else, which was annoying. Why would they get rid of the best part of the pizza? Who orders bleached bread these days? It tastes gross and is super unhealthy! Now I have zero reason to go back to BP, waitress made a point of interrupting our conversation to ask if we were ready to order and then if it was good, and then disappeared the rest of the night when we needed refills or the bill.
Worst dinner ever. First we stand there five minutes without acknowledgement. Then they don’t have tortillas for shrimp tacos, really? Then the burgers take over 30 minutes to arrive, with a near empty restaurant! Burgers arrived barely lukewarm and so gross. You know the frozen...burgers you can buy in the store, that’s what you get. And the topper is the lack lustre staff don’t give coffee refills or anything. Honestly any fast food place makes a better burger and doesn’t charge you almost $20 each. They have really gone down hill.
Only went to Boston Pizza to use up some gift cards reviewed over the holidays, otherwise we are not regulars nor big fans of their food. With that said, it was really disappointing how small the portions for he price. We spend $50 for two...adult entrees and one kids meal, so when I went to pick it up so thought they missed something in our bag, sadly it was all there. Can not understand the positive comments about this place?
