Bidrage med feedbackThe good:- sub zero poured beer! The meh:- don't know if there was a change in management within say...the past year or so...pizza meat portions and cheese seems to be on the light side. It's almost like someone is weighing them to the exact concise portions to save a few cents in costsBummed out.
On Tuesday, February 7th, although we 've been going to Surrey Fleetwood Boston Pizza for many years, we thought we would try Pasta Tuesday for the first time. When I asked for a sleeve of beer, the waitress, unknown to my judgement, brought a Boston size...and charged me for it, defending that was the size she heard me order. The corrected price was still wrong (a pint but to not cause an issue, I paid for this larger size anyway. The main issue, though, was with my daughter 's pasta dish. All of our orders were special priced at $11.99 or $14.98 with melted cheese. Three of our orders were sized substantially but my daughter received a very small amount of pasta on a smaller plate (the whole purpose of her visit was to bring half for lunch the next day. When she asked the waitress to check if this was a half size, the waitress said: I checked and it 's the right size but here you also get this piece of garlic bread. At no point did a manager talk to us and nothing was ever offered to us. We just had to pay the bill tip and leave.
Quick to get a table. Very Slow service. 20-25 to have someone take your food order with another 30 wait for dinner to make it to the table. Food was very plain and boring. Three is basically pasta on your plate with to lunch liquid...on the plate. I must say the restaurant is quite empty all the time, with this type of service and quality I now understand why. What a disappointment.
Even with no one in the place, service was a bit on the spotty side (not enough attention), but the food was good. We both had the Steak Dippie Thing (I'm sure that's not it's name, but you get the point). I ordered a Manhattan,...Up. She didn't know what that was, but at least the bartender did. Canada is a beer culture, not so much a cocktail culture. Not the best, not the worst, very convenient on our trips to Whistler.
My husband and I love boston pizza. We love the perogies pizza and the nachos. We loved the potato skins until they took they took it off of the menu. We had to come up with our own recipe for it. The only thing is...it is a little pricy for just pizza..
