A&w - Surrey

A&W is one of popular Canadian fast food restaurants. It sells the same kind of food as McDonald’s and KFC – Burgers, Pops, and Fries. The Burgers, RootBeer and Onion Rings are the famous food and drink in A&W. For the Burgers, it covers a burger family, has lots of different kinds, such as Mama burger, Papa burger, Teen burger, and etc. All the burgers use 100% pure beef patty and Chicken. They are all well cooked. Each of burger has its own ingredients and sauces and their taste are all different. Root Beer is made with natural cane sugar and all-natural flavors. (Carbonated water, cane sugar, natural flavour, colour, sodium benzoate, quillaia extract). It’s healthier than other pop drinks. Onion Rings are large and fresh. Very tasty. All the food at A&W is cheap and comes fast. It’s a great place to go during the road trip or small snack.

A&W has improved their quality a lot in the past year. As a result, it is one of the few places I'll stop for a quick burger. This location has a good drive through, but I always recommend dining in, as you get the signature frozen mug, so there is no ice to water down your drink.

I think this franchise has been listening to the customer. They have fresh eggs, chicken, beef, etc. that are guaranteed to be free from hormones, medications and are fed no animal products. Breakfast here is better than Denny's or several of the breakfast family restaurant choices. Still waiting for the salads to get as good as Wendy's.

Went to the Burger King drive through on King George the other evening at about 5 to midnight and was told it was closed. When asked when they closed I was told 'around midnight '. hmph! Thought I 'd take a chance at A&W close by and got there at not quite 5 after. The response when asked if their drive through was still open? Although they closed at midnight they still had a few patties good to go and what would I like. Now that 's above and beyond.

Convenient located and lots of parking. Reasonable clean here but there are room to improve. Burger is fresh and well prepared, much better than most other A&W I tried in the food court. Their Mozza Burger is my favorite pick: beef patty is juicy, bread is fresh, the bacon inside is super quality and sauce is well balanced. I never had the buyer's remorse on their Mozza burger yet.
