Biscuit Barn - Surgoinsville

I have to give one star because in over a year I've never onve been able to try this place. The hours open do not work unless you are retired....or they are temporarily closed down. I'd love to see the atmosphere and try the food. Not even sure how someone can keep a business going that's only open for the retired folk in middle of the week. Miss having a good Sunday breakfast place.

Southern food at its very best! Whether your hankering for some collard greens or okra. This sleepy little town truly has a gem of a restaurant. Hand breaded everything from fried green tomatoes to chicken tenders and don't forget the breakfast with homemade biscuits and gravy. Breakfast is all day long!!They recently added a salvage grocery store inside and the prices are amazing. I believe they said they would be taking food stamps very soon for the groceries. I love the atmosphere and decorations. I know it's a little out of the way but the drive is well worth it. Just google post office surgoinsville. Tell them Hungry Man sent you. Except i'm not hungry any more.

Won't last long. The food was awful and all I got was a burger. Never again not worth the price.

Service not so good and Cobb salad came without a hard boiled egg. When we mentioned that the egg was missing they responded that they had none. This is an all day breakfast restaurant and they have eggs! Also, they forgot to include a biscuit with the salad. Seemed like we were an inconvenience to the waitress and cook.
