Southern Chicken - Surfside Beach

This restaurant offers excellent food! I ordered the southern chicken sandwich with spiced pommes mac n cheese and everything was fresh and made to order. They also have a buffet with a wide variety of options. The prices are reasonable considering the quality and quantity of the food. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend this restaurant!

I recently discovered the best southern cuisine at this restaurant in Myrtle Beach. The flavors were incredible and the vegetables were fresh. This was my first visit, and I think I have found my new favorite place to eat. The service was exceptional as well. The only dilemma I had was deciding between the banana pudding and sweet tea, both were exceptional! I would give this restaurant 10 stars.

It used to be great, but now it's terrible. The server paid little attention to us, quickly bringing our drinks and disappearing. She even looked strange, like Captain Spaulding's sister. Another server sat in a corner and lazily pushed food into their mouth. I was shocked by the lack of service.

Lunch buffet is $9.50 it is a good thing that we do not stay so close to us or we come every week. If they like southern veggies, this is the place for them. I think the pintos here were the best I ever had in a restaurant. they have, like homemade kartoffels and mac and chz, the best Lima beans, black eyeballs and others. the fried chicken was very crispy and well flavored. they had bananenpudding and a delicious oreo dessert. we're coming back.

Go back to previous ways....the buffet is terrible.Few choices, chicken dry and cold (use to be one of my favorites), and vegetables need to be replenished more often.I would suggest ordering from the menu for fresh food, but it comes from the existing buffet.Once was a go to place for us and friends. Looing for a new place.
