The Island Rooftop - Surfers Paradise

I really don't understand why I was able to sit a table reserved, told by the workers I could sit anywhere that had no reserved sign on it?! I have asked this several times to say reserved tabs that later there was a function. we were made in the rule to feel unwillingly annoyed. very strange service everywhere. maybe they should not offer reservations for small dinner groups.

The service was horrible, We had to wait over 45 mins for our second round of drinks to be served. We had the table beside us be seated after us and was served 2 rounds of drinks and food while we were still waiting. I was very disappointed in the service.

Great atmosphere to enjoy a casual drink and catch up with friends.

Terrible service. minimal people there by wet weather, but zero service. 2 hours package and after 1.5 hours we asked when the food would begin to get out. that was cold. it was so disappointing.

On arrival we waited at the check in table and no one came, we asked a security guard if he could help and he directed us to the bar, bar staff then directed us to manager who then redirected us back to the lady who was supposed to be doing check ins, very confusing and lacked interest, welcome and professionalism. Maybe review this process. Other than that it was a nice night.
