Bidrage med feedbackDue to unforeseen circumstances, I landed in GC much later than I expected and was very glad Dominos was open till late so I didn’t have to go go bed hungry. <br/ <br/ The pizzas were great and the service was wonderful too.
I can't believe I'm reviewing dominos but I had a shocker of a meal and was starving and didn't want to spend $50 on room service (again) so got a pizza delivered. <br/ <br/ BBQ chicken pizza was a hit and the garlic bread too. With a drink $23 delivered to the hotel door. Why I didn't think of this earlier as could of saved myself $150 or more during my stay. <br/ <br/ All served so hot I burned my mouth. Now that's good
I had the cheesey pizza with thin crust.. $6 pick up and dine but it's $5 if you order online. I am not sure what cheese they use but it tastes like cardboard. There was a massive queue. They do have beer and pizza combos as well.
This is a pretty buzzing Domino's store down the alley of Surfer's Paradise. It seems to be a pretty active spot with customers regularly walking in and placing orders. Though there is a small seating space, looks like people prefer to take takeaways as the order seems to be done up in a jiffy and seems a favorable option to have along the way.<br/ <br/ They also have some interesting combo deals going on and I ordered for a spicy veg trio and a simply cheese pizza for just $6 each. The price increases by $2 if you place your order after 9pm. Though there isn't plenty of options available on the vegetarian side, there are manageable enough options in the form of a couple of veg based pizza's and sides such as garlic bread and it's cheesy version. They also have good offers such as if you purchase a single cheese garlic bread, you pay $6 but if you buy 2 of the same you end up paying 7$ for the both of em. Found the offer great and hence grabbed it with both hands.<br/ <br/ The spicy veg trio pizza comes under the value based category and contains baby spinach, fresh tomato, red onion and mozarella topped with chilli flakes and the simply cheese pizza was just oodles of cheese slathered on the base. I certainly found it value for money as in India for a similar deal would have severed a little more on the rupee. The spreading of the toppings were also more even and I fairly enjoyed my pizza. The cheese garlic bread was also pretty good and just the way it should be. The whole deal of 2 pizza's and a couple of cheese garlic bread just set me back by $19. A nice little outlet for having some reasonably good pizza's and sides at nominal rates.
<br/ I'm impressed. I've never thought very highly of dominos pizza, but after walking past this modern and gourmet looking domino's restaurant I thought it'd be worth a try. I got the thin crust vegetarian pizza and found that is wasn't greasy, had a fair amount of topping and looked appealing. The rest of the family thought the same about their pizzas. The vegetarian wasn't as tasty as others I've tried but for a $10 pizza it wasn't bad. <br/ <br/ For a quick and easy dinner, this dominos worked well and compared to other Domino pizza joints I've seen this one is the most done up. It show that if a company takes the time to decorate their space, it will draw customers attention. <br/
