Bidrage med feedbackI had a lovely afternoon tea at this bakery. My experience was very enjoyable. The coffee had a delicious hint of caramel flavor and the French Vanilla Slice was fresh and delicious. The staff were friendly and pleasant, providing prompt service. The atmosphere around the Fresh Food Court was surprisingly pleasant.
This place is inclined to an expensive side. were not the cheaters. the staff were the best
Have been here several times and each time the vanilla slices are divine. Have not tasted any better since we were in Paris. We also had a pie and sausage roll and both were good fillings, sausage roll pastry was a bit soft in the...middle, maybe microwaved but the rest was crispy and tasty. Service was good and not really expensive as someone commented, coffee shops aren't cheap these days due to high rents and wages! Anyway we both thought it was good value for good food and we would return.
Stopped here on impulse for what looked like and was signed as a sausage roll. Pastry was suspiciously dark, but I like a bit of carbon. Also ordered a Coke to takeaway. Don 't assume anything here, I was presented with a Sugar Free Coke, not...what I asked for, and when I asked for a real one, I got a wierd look, told that 's what they have for Coke and got a bit more attitude when I asked for a refund. Tried eating the sausage roll , which was on the expensive side at $6.50. In short, it was a bag of disappointment. I 'm not sure if whoever wrote the recipe for these affronts to the savoury pastry world has ever eaten a sausage roll before, but they are either vegan substitutes heavy on capsicum and breadcrumbs, or there is so little meat you cannot see taste or identify it as such. Fake Coke, rubbish sausage rolls, and serious attitude if you 're not on board with their bold new direction in food and beverage labelling.
The food is good but you way too expensive. The sour doe bread was nice but not crunchy as it had been wrapped in plastic.
