Little Sumo's - Surf City

The fresh, beautiful, and delicious fish at this restaurant is not the only highlight. The blend of flavors, while still keeping it simple, sets it apart as truly exceptional. If you have any interest in sushi, this is a must-try.

My boyfriend and I love poke bowls and we were looking for something light on our way off the island, so we decided to try this. We made it obvious it was our first time in there and the staff wasn't very helpful with ordering. I got the classic poke bowl and it was pretty tasteless. Seemed like a couple drops of sauce was in the bottom with the rice, came with wasabi and ginger which wasn't stated (I would chose to not get those personally) topping portions were awful, I had barely even half of half an avocado and 4 thin slices of cucumber. Will not be returning, was very disappointed for the price point.

This is hands down the best sushi on LBI. The food, service, and atmosphere all deserve a perfect 5 rating.

Awesome sushi, incredibly fresh and delicious. The staff is fantastic and went out of their way to fix a small mistake. This isn't your average take-out sushi spot, it's top-notch quality. Definitely worth a visit if you haven't been yet. I'll definitely be returning every time I'm in LBI. Rating: Takeout 5, Food 5, Service 5, Atmosphere 5.

The service at this restaurant was poor, slow, and they charged us for mayo despite it being listed on the menu as included. The ratio of rice to add-ons was terrible and the dish also came with ginger and wasabi, which was not mentioned on the menu.
