Some of the worst good I ever had, my wife ordered the magi snndwich two bites into it she wanted to throw up I ordered fried clams an fried clams were over cooked and fries were doggy, my boots lite was old beer in a bottle, when I got home in all came out bad place never to return.

The food was great. But the service SUCKED. It was overpriced!!!

The waitress was friendly, and we received good service. Unfortunately, the food was quite disappointing. The boiled shrimp was slimy and mushy, and the potato and corn were cold. I ordered fried shrimp and French fries, but everything on my plate was also cold. The highlight of my meal was two tiny hush puppies, which were the only enjoyable part.

We actually live in the area and decided to visit during the off-season. Unfortunately, the food took almost an hour to arrive! The service was quite poor; our waitress was very rude, and my cup was completely empty throughout the entire meal. The food itself was just okay—nothing special and definitely not worth the price. If you're vacationing in Surf City, I suggest spending your money somewhere else. We will not be returning. It was a HORRIBLE experience!

My husband and I both ordered crab legs at the restaurant. Unfortunately, they had only one pair of hinged crackers available. Thankfully, we ordered before the table next to us, or we would have been the ones waiting for 20 minutes for the crackers instead of them. The waitress was friendly and apologetic, but honestly... if your restaurant is named Buddy's Crab Shack, you might want to consider buying a few more pairs of cracker tools.
