Waroeng kroepoek is a classic strategic food station in solo or surakarta, a famous old central javanese city. the station combines traditional javan food culture with modern contemporary style of almost food. waroeng kroepoek (wk) introduce her to javanese wedangan culture and food sort. the unique antique building creates an atmosphere of the time tunnel journey from ancient times to modern solo. overall it will touch their five senses and fit both to their fast or slow lifestyle.

We tried this new angkringan based restaurant during ied holiday. The concept is very traditional (interior, bulding, decoration), in a joglo shaped building, dominated by wood components. They offer various menu of traditional javanese food, especially Solo culinary. You can pick your own choice of food, also there are some food stalls that serve you sate kere, sate kambing, tengkleng, etc. They offer kopi klotok and fried banana, just like what 's been a trend in Jogja. But we had not tried it. I order sate kere (beef intestine soy cake satay, with pecel peanut sauce), and wedang asle (warm drink consist of coconut milk, jelly, diced crumble bread, and sugar usually with mung beans and sticky rice as well) as drink. The place is cozy to eat and hangout. The price is cheap and the taste is quite good. But the location on the gmap is not correct.
