Bidrage med feedbackGreat fudge, chocolates, and popcorn. A great place to find retro candy. The prices for chocolates is very expensive. The checkout was very backed up, making customers impatient.
This was my first visit to Sweeden Sweets, and it just happened that Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers was there getting an ice cream cone. Lots of yummy treats and sweets, along with an interesting selection of beverages like hard-to-find varieties ofsodas from all over. This wouldn't normally be the kind of place a diabetic like me should be frequenting but sure enough, theyhave a good selection of sugar-free treats as well. This is like the best old-time candy store or soda fountain.
One of the best candy shops I've ever been to, and will be added to our must-go list when visiting the area. I wish we could take the whole store back home with us! The kids had so much fun exploring all the candy, soda, and ice cream. They havemultiple sodas on tap, and the owner (I think? was nice enough to let us sample them. The vanilla ice cream has honey in it andit was SOO good. I'll be ordering a root beer float next time, but my banana cream pie ice cream was also delicious. The kidsloved the selection of freeze-dried candies, as well as the bottled sodas. There were some weird/ gross ones we got as gaggifts. The salt water taffy selection is one of the best I've seen, but warning: it's relatively salty compared to the stuff youget at the grocery store. Cotton candy, candy corn, and strawberry banana were our favorites.
Such a fun candy store! I was in the area for Grandma's Marathon and stopped in for some ice cream but also left with some chocolates for my pet sitter. They also had so many kinds of popcorn I will try next time!
I have found my favorite candy that I didn't know about it until I bought some. Freeze dried candy. I live in Oregon and they said they would ship.
