Foxy On Coolum - Sunshine Coast

The live music at the restaurant was great, but the food that was advertised on the menu was not served. After reading other reviews on Google, I couldn't understand if this place is meant for friends and family only. I ordered the Israeli street food platter, but what I received was disappointing. The "falafels" were deep fried rice balls with no seasoning, no crunch, and no hint of chickpeas. They were tasteless. The menu also advertised hummus, but it was not included. The burger came with store-bought chips and a tiny amount of coleslaw in a coffee cup. Overall, I was disappointed not only because I paid for something different from what I expected, but also because the food did not match the descriptions in the reviews and menu.

The service was excellent, the food and drinks were top-notch, and the entertainment was fantastic! I will definitely be returning soon.

The prices for drinks at this restaurant are extremely high and not clearly displayed. I was charged a lot for a can of cider that costs less if bought wholesale. I wasn't told the price until after the drink was opened, so I felt obligated to pay even though I wouldn't have chosen it if I knew beforehand. If you enjoy high prices, bad music, and unconventional options, then I recommend this place. However, for everyone else, I suggest avoiding this overpriced and unappealing dive of a restaurant.
